Clean

I realized something yesterday. Having a clean home isn't just about being neat & sanitary. It's about pride. It's about taking pride in the things you have worked hard for and the life that you get up and go to work for everyday. And it's about respecting yourself enough to be surrounded by a pleasant environment. I've been slacking off even more than usual in the cleaning department lately. I've been a wee bit depressed. But I woke early this morning, around 8, and was ready to start cleaning. I've finished the bathroom where I even vacuumed all the cat grit and mopped. The bedroom just needs clean sheets and a good vacuuming. I have finished round one of dishes and the next step is to clean out the fridge. Tonight I am going to cook something decent for dinner. I've been slacking off in that area too. I went shopping two weekends ago as well as last weekend but have cooked hardly any of the meals I had planned. Tonight I'm going to try and salvage what I can and take the leftovers for lunch tomorrow
