Updates

The madness continues with the gas situation in Atlanta. In fact, I think it's spiraled into full blown insanity. People are camping out at gas pumps, waiting an hour and a half in line, getting into arguments, and FOLLOWING TANKER TRUCKS TO THE GAS STATION!!!!!!!! Seriously, there needs to be some sort of master plan. Now, if you ask me that should be the governor's job. Too bad he's on family vacay in Europe while the mansion is being redecorated.

In happier news.......the new girl at work got fired. Which sounds sad at first, but that means I was offered her position. I thought about it, took it, and thus will be receiving a raise! WOO HOO! I'll be making about the same as when I left Starbucks. Sweet. I think I'll celebrate this weekend by making something tasty and enrolling in health insurance.

Gas is crazy here too, more so since last weekend was a home game with fans needing gas to leave. Thankfully it's a bye week this week, that means there is no game on Saturday. So far I haven't seen crazy lines, but not all pumps at all the stations are working. It is scary.

Congrats on your new position and raise! YAY! Although your job can be stressful at times, it must be so nice to know that you are valued and appreciated at your new job, otherwise they wouldn't have offered you the promotion.

It is nice to know that the folks at my job think I can handle the responsibility. I'll get to move to a new bigger desk with a window!
